Rakshabandhan (Rakhi) is an ancient and beautiful spiritual ceremony that represents the reaffirming of a loving connection between us and the Divine. It includes three main elements: a period of meditative reflection on this deep relationship, the symbolic tying a fine thread (Rakhi) around the wrist as a reminder of our eternal bond with our spiritual parent and a chance to share a close spiritual connection through the eyes with an experienced yogi. However, you are welcome to just enjoy the serene meditative atmosphere and observe others enjoying the experience, if you wish.
